So why does my amp keep turning off and can i see some settings...?

I have 2 10 kenwood subs wich are 300 each, and i have a sony xplod wih is 600watts. everytime the bas is loud on the son git shuts down, do i need a better amp? fuses?? and who else has this amp so i can see there settings, thanks
