What is the Growth rate ( in feet / year) of the Traveler Palm?

I live in the Dominican Republic (Tropical Weather), my house have clay terrain, but I can dig and put black dirt in. how deep I need to dig to plant it? How long it will take to get to 16ft? The plant is about 3ft right now. What about in a year?
