Why do the butchiest of women seem to try to overshadow a man?

I have noticed that extremely looking butch women (s) tend to size up men in a obvious but subtle way.....as to ert their dominance over them. Men hardly do that to other men and of course other women, but these type of women kind of push the personal space bubble intentionally
