Xbox 360 must haves accessories and games?

well i was just wondering what are the must haves for a xbox 360 games and accessories. also i was wondering if the wirless network adapter would be good or could i just hook it up to my laptop even though it doesnt have the wireless connector. also what size tv would be good i sit between 5-7 feet away from my tv
