I need to change my Penger Side Rear Wheel Cylinder on my 05 Scion XB?

I have a 05 Scion XB and I'm planning to change the Penger side rear wheel cylinder, Is it necessary to remove the shoes in order to do this process and After I install the Wheel Cylinder do I need to make any adjustments to the shoes? Thanks for your Answers I really appreciate it =)
