Should i break up with him?

ok so i sorta have thiss guy that imm justt soo in love but i think its pretty close.. my parents dont like him, hes not way older or anything just by a couple weeks. ndd he does a lot for me.. they think i might just ggo down a wrong path i know i would never go down.. but the problem is that i lost a lot for him . my quince nera and a lot more... i just am so confused.. my friends say i should and so does my family but my heart says i shouldnt im so confused here....
