Yes, you would go into menopause, but at 42 menopause is looming anyways. The difference is its a sudden rapid depletion of the hormones as opposed to gradually decreasing. The symptoms can be severe, but there are medications to help lesson those symptoms. The outcome will more than likely be better then the endometriosis. As for the autoimmune disorder, that needs to be discussed with your doctor, as different disorders affect the body in different ways, but I don't see that it would be a major issue with this sort of surgery.
