"Games for Windows" shortcuts?

Whenever I install a game that says "Games for Windows" it doesn't creat a shortcut to run the game and when I go to the game folder, it does not have a run icon. Does anyone know how I can get a run shortcut onto my desktop? I have Windows Vista, and when I install the program, it does not ask me if I want to create a desktop shortcut.
